The annual KICKS 96 Kash for Kids event [Thurs, 3 Dec 2009] at Fricker's raised $4717 for Toys for Tots. Local businesses donated items which were raffled by the KICKS 96 team or sold at auction by Roger Richert. Dot Foods donated $1000 and Robert Lee sent $1000 raised from his unit in Afghanistan. One of the highlights of the evening was when KICKS 96 Angie Fox announced Dave and Kim Parker's prize: their son, LCpl David Parker USMC, arrived and surprised them at Fricker's, on leave after his recent deployment to Iraq!
